Sister or Nameless Sister is the youngest of the surviving Sisters. She has no name, but the other Sisters call her Death because she was born after the Void stopped living a long time ago.

Shy and melancholic, but very kind and nurturing. The only Sister capable of self-sacrifice.

Description[ | ]

Nameless Sister is the first Sister the hero encounters, and teaches him the game's introductory lore and mechanics.

In her physical manifestation she stands upright and looks directly at the hero. In her Soul Obscura, however, she manifests her sorrow by keeping herself sitting down in a rolled up position, head down, hugging herself.

She is warm and encouraging towards Spirit, occasionally calling him "my sweet" and "my love".

Appearance[ | ]

Sister wears a plain white dress and has chin length white hair that covers one of her eyes, and light blue eyes. She is pale skinned and has red lips and a red string tied around her left arm.

Colors[ | ]

Sister Death is the only Sister capable of self-sacrifice, as well as the kindest of Sisters, which is evident in her liking of the color Gold. She is also a lonely Sister: ignored by the other Sisters and by the Brothers, ultimately excluded from the Void's affairs. Her liking of Emerald is an indication of the patience required when one is selflessly dedicated to others.

She has no poisonous colors, possibly to make things easier for the player at the beginning of the game.

Chamber[ | ]

Sister's Greenhouse is located at the very bottom of the Void — it is the chamber that is closest geographically to the Nightmare.

The chamber, engulfed in darkness, is a small island surrounded by water. There are dying trees, twisted roots and pathways, and an archway that opens to the waters. In the middle of the island is a large tree growing out of the remains of a small greenhouse.

Sister leans on the tree before being approached and hides when the Hero comes close, before standing up straight to greet him.

We never heard again once we departed.
